TASTING NOTES
Konstantara Assyrtiko – Viognier White has a bright greenish-yellow colour with intense golden highlights. On the nose it has great complexity and elegance, expressing the varietal character of the French Viognier as well as the Northern Helladite Assyrtikos. On the nose Konstantara Assyrtiko – Viognier reveals aromas of ripe apricot, flowers and citrus peel along with tropical fruits and lots of white flowers that make the nose irresistible. The aromas of the barrel – vanilla, tobacco and nuts – are perfectly integrated into the wine composing a rich bouquet of aromas while the smell of bread crust indicates the contact with the lees. On the palate this excepional white wine is full, creamy, rich, with crisp acidity and excellent structure while mouth aromas follow those of the nose. Konstantara Assyrtiko – Viognier has complex, intense, long aftertaste with aromas of sweet spices such as vanilla, offering the feeling that it will last forever.

Konstantara Assyrtiko – Viognier pairs well with Meditterranean and exotic cuisine, chicken and poultry, rabbit, boiled meat, tapas, fatty fish, pasta with seafood, dishes with white or light sauces, salads and vegetables and fruit and cheese platters.
