TASTING NOTES
Avantis Estate Syrah has a deep ruby colour, with complex developing bouquet. This premium red reveals aromas of spices, pepper, cinnamon and tobacco, a strong sense of black fruit taste (prunes, raspberries, blackberries), jam baked fruit and nuances of vanilla. On the palate Avantis Syrah is full bodied and spicy with decent ripe fine-grained tannins and long finish.
PAIRINGS
Avantis Syrah is a perfect companion to grilled, barbecued or roasted red meat, braised lamb and beef. It also pairs well with game, pork and sausages, stews and meat dishes with rich tomato or spicy red sauces, Mediterranean cuisine, cold cuts and matured cheeses.
Unfiltered and unstabilized wine. Any amount of sediment in the bottle is normal.
