Description
A limited-edition 2005-vintage single malt that was initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks, before being finished in Pedro Ximenez sherry butts from Fernando de Castilla in Andalucia, Spain. Aromas of prunes, treacle, toasted oak, dates and sweet spices fill the nose, complemented by notes of maple syrup, candied nuts, marmalade, salted caramel and chocolate ganache on the palate, with coffee, cinnamon, toffee, clove and dried figs lingering in the finish. This is a limited release of only 9,870 individually numbered bottles.
