Ruffino Orvieto. This wine has always been benefited from the tuff rock on which Orvieto was built. The low and constant temperatures of the cellars carved into the soil facilitate long fermentation and the creation of quality wines.
TASTING NOTES
Color: Almost transparent straw yellow, with grey highlights.
Aroma: Delicate aromas of wild flowers and fruit, including apples and yellow peaches.
Tasting Profile: Dry and well integrated on the palate with a vigorous structure and upbeat finish, in which the freshness is underpinned by sobering acidity.
Full Tasting Notes: As a tribute to the character of the appellation, this wine enjoys company but also has a serious side that is seen in its composure.
