Description
The second release from BenRiach’s Peated Cask Strength series (in the same vein as their unpeated Cask Strength releases) is made with whiskies drawn from Oloroso Sherry casks and bourbon barrels. Aromas of baked brioche, coconut and subtle peat make for a refined nose. This scotch is remarkably smooth on the palate, belying its alcohol content with flavors of yogurt covered almonds, banana custard, and ginger snaps before a velvety finish.
