Made from Barbera grapes grown in a large hilly area in the provinces of Asti and Alessandria characterised by calcareous, clayey and sandy soil.

Bouquet: Winy, ethereal, with notes of blackberry, plum and spices
Flavour: Dry, round, bold and full-bodied. Becomes more harmonious with ageing.
Pairings: Goes perfectly with bold flavours such as cured meats, flavourful soup, pasta or rice dishes, boiled and roast meats and cheeses of all kinds.
